	Located in the tiny rural village of Maffrecourt the Manoir de Maffrecourt is surrounded by farms and amazing views of almost endless countryside. A selection of farm tracks are perfect for exploring by foot or by bicycle. Champagne Camping - Spacious - just 9 "Car Free" rustic tent pitches, & our Sanglier SuperTent in over 5 acres of grounds, where you'll enjoy the peace and tranquility of the Champagne countryside. Easy to reach, we're set in the beautiful Marne region of the Champagne Ardenne in France, and very easy to get to, only 3 hours from Calais, 40 minutes from Reims, Chalons en Champagne & Verdun and within easy reach of The Netherlands, Belgium, Luxembourg, Switzerland and Germany. Bike Hire: Explore the local villages or forest by bicycle... we have 10 adult & childrens available to hire from only 12 Euro for up to one day. All are new or almost new and regularly serviced. Bike rack available for travelling further afield. You could be sipping a glass of "Comte Audoin de Dampierre or Daniel Pétré Champagne" or local "Valmy Beer" while watching the sun set over the rolling countryside here very soon!! Perfect for our 2 boys - 7 and 5 years to explore with their bikes, plunge into the pool and collect cherries and plums. Mum enjoyed time off cooking with the most wonderful food and Dad enjoyed easy access to wine and fizz. We were made to feel most welcome, feeling like we were staying with friends. London, UK - July 2011 “Amazing place and lovely hosts, a totally unusual and special place” We camped and had the most relaxing weekend here, being able to grab champagne perfectly chilled from the fridge, eating lovely home cooked food by candle light in the garden and at our tent was superb. Being able to have filter coffee in the morning , with tasty home cooked food delivered to you in rural bliss, need I say more! The owners of this lovely place are so kind and helpful you couldn’t ask for more, the concept they have created is great, it is such a treat to camp with space and coupled with beautiful sunsets it simply is a recipe for a perfect break. We left with a couple of boxes of lovely champagne in the boot of the car and are enjoying our camping experience at home still and every time we open a bottle we always say what a lovely long weekend break!
